Yep, there’s time for that and times when it’s not appropriate. If you are talking about fake asses, album sales, even a Gucci boycott but when we are talking about life and death, systemic racism and shyt like that, you can’t keep that same energy.

Someone please explain to me how Joe plans to get what he thinks he’s owed in the podcasting game when it’s clear he puts 0 effort into the show?

this pod is begging to get passed Up if they approach serious topics like they did today. That was embarrassing

only Parks seems like he’s informed enough to hold a convo about the current events

Joe used his platform to give voice to about 5 conspiracy theories that have been easily debunked especially that DC blackout shyt

I didn’t see 350 yet but I felt the same way about the opening for 349...I appreciate the jokes more than anything else but as the lead host he needs to have an inkling of what’s going on and offer legit opinions and not just snatch shyt he read on forums...rory and parks had to correct him far too many times and it was beyond clear he was misinformed and had no real opinions on the matter...and this is why the show takes a hit whenever they try to get serious and delve into important topics...if he wants to take the show to the next level this is what he needs to do...not a single thought-provoking opinion was offered during that segment and it just felt like a cheap summary of threads on a message forum

he talks about joe rogan getting that $$$ but one thing I can say about that show from the handful of eps I’ve watched is that it can be informative to an extent...I’m a little older but I would imagine that show is a big hit particularly in the 24-35 age range...and for men in that age group there’s a lot of little gems both the host and the guests drop...to be fair I’ve only seen 3 eps (tony hawk...kevin hart and mike tyson) and I’m no fan of rogan but decided to be objective and watch a few eps

too important not to address...unfortunately they’re just not capable of speaking on it intelligently...I remember how disgusting joe behaved during that black history month segment they had...extremely cringeworthy...I hope parks develops more of a voice and perhaps serves as a straight man to joe similar to the dynamic that existed between robin and howard stern in that he’d clown around and she’d be the informative one that’d correct/corral him if he went too far off topic/base...show needs a semi-dominant voice that’s interesting to listen to and can check joe or @ least takeover segments that he’s not qualified to speak on
