Hold up this clown Justice literally just said "I'm all for Black Mediocrity. Why everything we do gotta be excellent? I want to be able to put out some ight sh*t and it sell out too.":what:

Ladies and gentlemen, that is why the culture as a whole is so terrible now. It's cool to not have standards as long as you "get the bag." The lack of pride and self-respect is appalling :snoop:

that justice dude was obnoxious af, but i see what he was getting at with that comment

white folks can be bland, vanilla average at whatever they want, yet still move millions and sell out shows
we, on the other hand, always have to be on 100 at all times to get even get a semblance of a crumb

I get what he was inferring. But, when you see how he kept making excuses for Summer's show, it all makes sense. He just wants to get by with the least amount of effort and energy possible.

He's not about holding anybody accountable and that's a terrible trait to have as a manager. That's if you care about the longevity of your artists and work.

I can't change my standards just because of what White people get away with. That's like justifying slavery because they "got that bag."

Good review on the life shows.

To be honest I never saw the appeal of going to one because the idea of a live show kinda clashes with the concept of the podcast in the first place. The main reason I tune in is because it feels like a show with your and your boys just kicking it and offering your perspective on a variety of topics...introducing a crowd element to it directly contradicts that. Just by going off the clips that I've seen of them it looks awkward and poorly paced.

I give em props for trying something different but it's just an odd format for what it is that they're trying to do IMO.

Let’s say the average price is $90...90 x 2,800 seats at the Beacon = $252K for a single show.

Understanding you have all types of fees, insurance, splitting the pot 4 ways with the hosts, etc. I’m sure they each still come away with a good amount of money for that single show.

IMO the point of a live podcast should be to give your fans a bonus on top of what they’d get by listening to you for “free” every week. They should invest a little more in the live experience...especially since Joe always wants to yap about how podcasters are essentially the new music acts in terms of being the main attraction, creativity, generating money, etc.

I'm literally having to listen to this in increments because I need a break from Justice. Same way I was the Nicki episode. It's just a draining listen since Wednesday and I still got like 45 minutes left.
It took me a day and a half to finish lol. Man that dude had to be arguing just to argue. My dude had all the worst takes :mjlol: His comedian takes made me turn it off and go to my music playlist for damn near the rest of the day yesterday. He literally stressed me out lol.
