I still rock with Ish because he saved the podcast from its impending doom way back when and that should always be respected. He’s even giving it a much needed jolt now even if it’s not the way he wants

He wasn’t lying when he said that he takes a lot of bullets for the podcast during that whole Umar saga

This is an example of Marc pretending he doesn’t know what Ish is trying to say. Marc shouldn’t have to dumb himself down, but trying to play the “well actually” game every argument is a little corny.

Ish is trying to say it was an accepted way of life for children of a certain age to work in the fields to make money for the family. Hell, the school year down south is still based on the crop seasons.

If you’re black, you probably have older relatives who worked in the fields or a store when they were a child, and if you ask them was it “immoral” they would say that’s just how it was at the time, which is Ish’s point.

Marc is always approaching from a pandering liberal standpoint which doesn’t leave any room for nuance in any argument.

He said I know a little bit about a lot of shyt

Precisely you dumbass 😆
Ain't there ain't nothing at all wrong with that in itself. The problem is thinking knowing that little bit trumps the opinion of people who know a lot about a subject. Know when you're outmatched and shut up and listen to learn more.

Great point. Most of us know a little about everything but we are self aware enough to understand our limitations.

This nikka Ish talks with his chest like he's this big subject matter expert.

Also the comedy in his arguing is conflating opinions and facts. Smart dumb tactic 101.

“Nobody in Black media can shyt on me academically.
I’m well-read and I got a bookshelf to prove it. I’m smart

- Ish

Why would he say this? Ish has never come off as particularly intelligent to me - half of the time he can barely articulate his position. Wtf :dahell:

That’s not MLH’s point. His point is certain actions shouldn’t be considered “acceptable”, irregardless of the time period or region.

The issue is MLH is a trained anthropologist (they tend to be mostly very liberal) and view the world and its standards in a completely different way than most people.
