joe refusing to work on corporations terms was always the right move. the politics behind the scenes is a mess and will burn you out fast. most of the podcasts that spotify bought ended up getting dropped. i think joe rogan and bill simmons are the only ones who have made it work under spotify, and even then bill simmons was going through a lot of restructuring of his shows until things stabilized for him.
