Plus, he was sayin' & doing shyt like this long before he made that announcement. What it boils down to is like breh said below...
He's miserable with life (maybe rightfully so) and doesn't want to be a 'punching bag' or the low hanging fruit of jokes. I mean, he self-admittedly has said he has anger issues and one of his "resolutions" is to be more chill and not so reactive cuz he quick to swing etc.
What I will say, to shoot some kind of bail I guess, is that Marc does jab @ him a lot lol. He jabs at everybody but his jabs with E hit different cuz bro prolly already insecure & shyt.

I think there is just some extra dislike underneath it all with Marc. Cause Flip hit him way harder in that clip. Then Marc makes a slick comment and Emanny throws shyt at him. Either they are really cool behind the scenes or E really dislikes that nikka. Only way to explain that IMO. To me it came off like "these my nikkas so they can joke on me. I don't know you like that so watch ya mouth."
Another part is nikkas get frustrated at somebody they can't joke back with cause the other person is better at it. Cause then since they afraid to joke back so find other ways to attack.
They have a weird relationship fr. Marc is the only one I see online reposting Emanny's music & singing vids half the time, showing luv, and yet his animosity for Marc jokin' on him compared to the rest of the cast is clearly higher & dem niccas rarely show luv aside from Joe playin' his old shyt as a sleeper.
That is a good point though. He's known Joe, Ice & Joe for hella long, & Flip too by proxy. He may look at it like Marc ain't earned the right to keep talking down on him about his financial status, his cognitive abilities, etc.
Plus, when u goin thru it or down bad, everything is amplified lol. I wonder if Joe will make him take a break again like he did after he didn't show breh grace on Flip's shyt.

I will say it was an emotional response, because if he would have hit that nikka in the eye then shyt could have went left very quick. And he already had a case he was fighting.
If im Joe or Ian, I would have to investigate the situation a bit more because a hot head like E is capable of crashing out the whole shyt. He already said he would if he ever got fired.
