Disagreeing with you about thinking someone should know how jewishness is passed down isnt making an excuse for them. It's just thinking you are wrong.
It's in the same pile as the convo of Silk being upset that they didnt know how to pronounce Ngyuen or w/e.
You overestimate the importance black people(or anyone) puts on learning about the inner workings of jewish religion(or any religion that isnt their own). Most non jews wouldnt gaf. To most people, you are either jewish or not, no one gaf how they became jewish. If I see a catholic/baptist/muslim, etc idgaf how they became one.
*Steady arguing about how religion is passed down should be known*

nikka really came back to this thread to rehash a 5 day old conversation about Jews.![]()
It's a dead (or should have been) conversation.I didn't see the response clown. It's not about Jews it's about oldheads who lack common knowledge.
Fam.. what factual information is your argument based on? Because you’re a black man living in NYC and are in proximity of a Jew? How would this conversation even come about?Knowing that Judaism is passed down maternally is within the realm of common knowledge. It speaks to a larger issue of us being unaware of how other cultures operate while they know everything about us, which opens the door to us being exploited. Men in their 40s and 50s who grew up in the NYC area and interacted with Jewish people should know how it is passed down on a basic level. It's definitely not in the same realm of how to pronounce Ngyuen since there are exponentially fewer people with that name in NYC than there are Jewish people. It's closer to being in the realm of knowing that the US population is about 350 million people. Would you say it's unimportant for them to know about how many people live in their home country? You seem to underestimate the importance of common knowledge.
Not to mention, the biggest rapper in the world (Drake) is Jewish. Most people who were unaware of how it was passed down became aware thru learning about Drake.

lol how would someone know this based off Drake being Jewish?? When did people become aware of based off his stardom??
I think you are taking something YOU may have knowledge of and thinking because you know it everyone else should
That’s like me saying because I live in Arizona that neighboring states should know that our state doesn’t participate in Daylight Savings
Most black households are not single parent homes. They may be reported as single parent homes, but they're not. So in closing they don't know shyt. It’s based on living in close proximity of people from that culture in one of the most densely populated cities in the World. And them being in their 40s and 50s. Again, it’s common knowledge. Most cacs aren’t personally friends or close to Black ppl but they know that most Black households are single parent homes.

By definition (born to unmarried parents), yes most Black households are single parent households.
A single parent is a person who has a child or children but does not have a spouse or live-in partner to assist in the upbringing or support of the child in household together.
That is a b*stard, not a single parent.By definition (born to unmarried parents)
