Of course not, since the party didn’t exit yet, but he was most likely racist, by today’s standards. Just like you are calling an anti-slavery, pro integration woman a racist, by today’s standards. Id say as Frederick Douglas said, product of their times. On the racist scale she was far below the average white person.

She was racist by any standard. She expressed anti-Black sentiments.

Damn near every white person did as far as I know, and it was also when she got old and deranged.

I also don’t know why you are trying to give white women monopoly on feminism or tie methods to theory.

An example would be to say that some movement is wrong cause some people in it did some dirt that is independent of what that movement stands for. Ie Christianity is trash cause there’s racist preachers, pedophile preachers, cause they used it to enslave and rob whole continents etc.

I respect B. Dot for not going for it though.

Tensions seems pretty high this episode though - Joe must be loving the potential for fukkery

And I agree with Joe on Cole.

The more and more you listen to him talk, you start to realize that he's impulsive and that impulse usually leads to an emotional decision. Once the decision is made, he realizes he fukked up and that's when second guesses himself and follows up with a "wiser" decision.

On surface, it seems "mature" but it's really just a lack of forethought and weak.
