Took longer to read the replies in this thread then it did to listen to Joe ramble for 3 hours 
Anyway, Joe might not have fumbled the bag if other bags are out there (time will tell), but as usual he fumbled his business.
Spotify tried to 360 the whole squad for a lot of money. Thats a choice for them. If they don't want that, just say No respectfully and ask them to come back with a deal for just the Pod. If Spotify says no, then you bounce. The end.
Literally nothing good will come from him airing all this out, and its yet another pointlessly burned bridge....

I do a patreon for my fav podcast . If they raised the price I would pay more . They are so good and consistent .
I know some little podcast that do free shows but the bonus show is on patron and people pay happily .

I get that Joe feels a way, but why the fukk would you openly shyt on a company going on rants? Just do a deal that works and keep it moving. Other companies will use this a leverage against him. He can just speak with other companies, ink a deal that works, and be done with Spotify.

They try to get you to agree to the most fukked up, company favorable terms as you are willing to sign for every time. It's your job to have smart lawyers who understand contractual language, have a product/service that is valuable, and use any leverage you have to get the most favorable terms for yourself that they are willing to offer. And if the company doesn't offer enough, find one that will

I disagree. Spotify didn't change up and come back with a better offer to Joe because he aired this out publicly. And they aren't going to hesitate to make the same type of offers to other people because Joe aired this out publicly
Salute to Joe for believing in his show enough to tell them to fukk off, and he had the right to air this out. But best case scenario, he gets a better deal elsewhere. Worst case scenario, other companies that might have been considering giving him a better deal steer clear of him because of this. THAT is how big companies hold power over the labor class. They have the ability to curve anybody for any reason
This last episode is like the remix episode to the one that dropped when they signed to Spotify. I wouldn’t have the app on my phone if it wasn’t for this podcast and I’ll delete it after the podcast is gone ..Spotify Definitely changed after the joe Budden podcast launched there .I don’t even think you could change the play speed on the app until after joes pod told them people were requesting it . I was using an android player before Spotify so I already was used to using that feature ... I hope he styles on them like he did complex . Sounds to me like both sides got game from eachother
