Nah, Diddy on some sucker shyt. He has the means to go back & fix Mase's deal or pay him what he owes. If Diddy is really on this black empowerment, positive energy, then he should have no problems righting the wrongdoing from his past.
nikka it's business, I'm supposed to default a contact because you're black ? nikka you signed it and you knew what came with it. When these artists sign to a major label they relinquish most or all their rights in exchange for the exposure, positioning and overall push. It is what the fukk it is. There's pros and cons to this shyt. It's nobody's fault he wasn't thinking long term. You gotta separate feelings in business son.

Why did Joe beef with Def Jam, LA Reid, Complex and Em then?

Lets be real, they said that shyt because of Joe's closeness to Diddy and him teaming up with AT&T to expand Revolt's reach. They obviously want to be the pillar under that umbrella. Rory's business is basically under Roc Nation.

This is the same nikka that made multiple 30-40 min long vids airing out grievances about his past companies, the pay, the Friday shows, etc. Not once did you hear them seriously argue Joe should have been okay with his treatment just because it helped elevate him, which it undeniably did
Joes beef with Em and Complex are not comparable to the Mase and Puffy situation.

Mase wants to buy his pub back and Puff said no...because he's contractually binded, Mase is angry and is throwing a tantrum on IG veiled by pro black rhetoric.

They really gotta chill with the "We giving you two albums every week" talk.
I love the pod but it's just them shooting the shyt in their friends apartment.
Good albums are timeless.
No ones gonna be revisiting a 3 year old pod to see what they had to say about The Game vs Meek Mill beef.
Sometimes I fall a few episodes behind and even a 2-3 week lag makes it feel very dated.

What are you suggesting?

Not suggesting anything too deep. They’ve just been talking about owning podcast publishing and comparing themselves to musical artists when it’s not the same . People still bump and make money off of Harlem World 25 years later. The lifespan of a current events podcast is a couple weeks at best. They’re talking as if they’re creating timeless art.
