They need to stop letting Mal lead discussions
he took the Gayle King interview and started talking about Snoop disrespecting his elder
he took the Meek and Nick convo and started bashing social media and saying Nicki is too much of a star
Why did they let Mal address that Gayle thing, dude spent 95% of the time talking about how black men shouldn't talk about black women
They should've had two different segments if he thought the most important thing about Gayle's interview was Snoops reaction to it.
Mal was on some bullshyt. Joe was skirting around the narrative of Oprah's agenda

Mal used it as a way to make up for his past “mistakes” with black women. Joe safely removed himself since he’s trying to elevate his platform, can’t offend Oprah.
They were a lot better when they weren't so tied into the industry, they were more authentic.

Each week the podcast is getting same same. Joe will spend a bit of time just calling out and shytting on Mal for random or no reason, and just straight laugh at anything he has to say. Not saying Mal speaks complete sense but it does feel like each week it's how can Joe shyt or joke on Mal. And now they skirt around topics because they're linked to so many people. Mal will defend Jay to death, Joe will defend Puff, Rory and Parks are usually the only 2 that are pretty honest with their views on things as they aren't as connected with certain people.
Podcast is still good but I think some things do need to change a little.

as much as I disagreed w/ mal’s take...it wasn’t as unbearable as I anticipated it to be...joe’s take was much more on the nose...he brought up many good points that I’ve seen others express on here
that being said I don’t place much stock/value on their opinions when it comes to these matters...in some weird way the comradery and the jokes reminds me of past friendships where we joke and shyt on each other all the time but it’s in good fun and that’s what keeps me coming back to the show...I enjoy the banter when they’re not being too serious and just kicking it/bullshytting
they’ve been laying into mal pretty hard these last few eps lol...I forgot who it was (rory or parks) that chimed in a few eps back that mal had too many dudes in his phone lmao
