What is it bout

It's a 90s movie set in 1980's Mississippi where Samuel L Jackson is on trial for killing 2 white boys in broad daylight for raping and assaulting his 10 year old daughter. Matthew McConaughey plays his lawyer.

It's not a bad movie, it's just mad hokey and unrealistic. The kinda sentimental bullshyt a corny nikka like Joe would fall for. There's a super corny scene at the end where McConaughey describes the rape of SLJ's daughter and then ends it with "now imagine she was white". And every white person in the courtroom is like :ohhh:. And (Spoiler) that's why the all-white jury acquits him. :lolbron:

Like you or anyone else here has any clue about this whatsoever.
I’m sure he’s able to buy his masters back? This is one of the most clueless things I’ve ever read.
What the fukk are u talking about .

Riri got hers back like 3 years ago no one talks about it but it was a big deal .

LOL
It was seen as an absolute coup for her and set off endless speculation about how she was able to do it.
Buying your masters requires whoever owns your masters being willing to sell them. Many of the biggest names in music history have been unable to do it.
By all indications Drake has a very complicated situation of who he’s signed contracts with and to act like he can just “decide” to buy them back is ludicrous. Doesn’t matter how much money he has.

Breh I know all that the fukk .

The last big thread I remember was when Chris brown did it .

Drake has made folks gotta be close to a billion .

We don’t know what his new deal involved but if he hasn’t been able to buy his shyt back he should soon be able to . I believe he will be able to breh . He’s not gonna suffer long like others have . Plus now he’s out the old deal .

So you basically agreed with us that his contract situation was terrible .

Really not here to try and get in arguments. My point was that no one knows what’s going on behind the scenes with the business side and everyone loves to speculate based on gossip and heresay.

That's the people's fault, not his. "I'm all for the creatives/creators. I hate the industry!!" is a hustle, it's his shtick, being relatable/regular. Obviously Budden is just trying to get some money, like everyone else, people passionately buying into the hustle and taking it serious just highlights the people's naivete.

Accepting that Budden and everybody else is full of shyt and just marketing an image shouldn't discourage you tho, there are adults who still love watching wrestling and they know it's fake, lol.

I can't believe that people still don't understand his Puff/Mase take.
In Joes opinion in the case of Harlem World it was Puff who was the creator, not Mase.
It was Puff picking the beats from his own producers. It was Puffs connections getting famous guest features on damn near every song.
It was Puffs vision for how to do the videos and rollout which was just a continuation of the enormous machine that was post B.I.G. Bad Boy at that time. After Life After Death and No Way Out Puff knew exactly what to drop and Mase fit the image he wanted. Mase just had to come in and drop some 16s and Puff did the rest.
The difference between Harlem World and someone getting a budget from some suits at a label to go find their own producers, guests, craft their own songs etc. is night and day. Not every situation is the same when it comes to who the creator is.

it’s all fancy juelzing...I UNDERSTOOD his point...I just don’t agree w/ it especially when the focus was on mase’s publishing
