I think the point you’re missing is that EXCESSIVE mucus can be a breeding ground for diseases and viruses to manifest themselves.
Why do you think that when people catch
colds, flu, etc. that their bodies start to eject mucus (runny nose, sneezing, coughing up mucus, etc.)?
Because chances are there’s been an overproduction of it and their systems are trying to get some of that shyt out.
Yes, we need mucus to protect certain vital organs, but having too much can cause you to be more susceptible to sickness.
