I don't even like the Kevin Samuels nikka much (actually I don't have anything against him considering ppl voluntarily call into his show) but that bar hit so close to home. This past Sunday a chick I been talking to and trying to court has been upset at me and won't talk because of a discussion we had. I sent her that tweet from the girl in her car talking about the black athlete on her campus that she wouldn't talk to because she assumed he doesn't like black women. I was just telling her why are they focusing on the few black men that don't like them instead of focusing on the plethora of black men that do. She grew up overseas in a country that doesn't like darker skin women so she got bullied (and raped idk if that was cause of her skin color though) so she had to deal with the colorism shyt her whole life. Anyways she started crying and asked me if I was saying she should ignore her feelings which I wasn't necessarily saying just telling her to focus on the nikkas that do like her because there's plenty of them. She got upset, started crying, hung up the phone and hasn't talked to me since except for a few texts where she says she'll hit me when she's ready to talk."Men are cost benefit calculators. Did you even read the articles you linked? They're getting only outpacing women of other races in attaining advanced degrees. So basically, while women of other races are building families and legacies. our women are cuddled up with their degrees. And to make matters worse in those same articles, they basically point out that the degrees are low-value and don't lead to positions that warrant the extra debt.
Not to be insensitive. But if she does hit you up. Don't respond. Heed this advice.
