You can't believe shyt Joe says. He contradicted himself on today's pod. Yesterday he says Rory hit up Ian and said he's not coming in because shyt's still not right. On today's pod Joe says that Rory and Mal's lawyer responded to the accounting that was sent to them and said they didn't trust it and want more information so Joe says he told them fukk they're fired them.

So how'd the actual firing go down? Was it Rory saying he wasn't showing up or the lawyers saying they didn't trust the numbers so Joe told them not to show up and that they're fired?

He also said today that he never told anybody to take a break at any time. Joe's a habitual liar and I have no idea how y'all take his word as gospel. shyt the guys on the pod for years have called Joe out for his nonstop lying.

Yeah, his story isn't all that consistent.

His argument was that they were bugging because the podcast actually wasn't making money (which is a completely separate issue, since at this point it could easy to argue that if it's not making money, it's due to decisions that he made on his own), but then he said that the podcast is his most valuable asset, and he's not touching any of the YouTube money (allegedly because of taxes? That still doesn't quite make sense at first glance). Set aside the idea of actually using the YouTube money. If all three of those things Joe said can be true at the same time, it still suggests that the numbers are either getting fukked up something serious, or there's plenty of info missing.

Mal and Rory were making 6 figs to basically sit and play 2nd fiddle to Joes conversations about strip clubs and shallow hip-hop discussions and play a couple songs at the end.

And to do it only 2 days a week. Outside of being a legit celebrity, where can you work 6 hours a week as a side kick and make 6figs?

You got 4 or 5 other whole days to do your own thing on the side.

On the flip, we all saw how quiet they were when Joe wnt on his Spotify rant several months ago. So him turning down deal money they probably were already anticipating in their head, probably made the situation a slow drip.

Mal was tricking off his money on expensive sneakers, hipster merch and them stupid looking fitted hats instead of starting his own business/creating another stream of income. nikka was more obessed with his wardrobe than anything else.

Which is why I say Mal is spoiled and entitled…Easiest job in the fukking world where you don’t have to bust yo ass nh for a paycheck like the average breh and you still complain? And he’s almost 40…no excuses to be that damn lazy and unmotivated.

Believe it or not, alotta brehs would kill to be sitting on that stool making that kinda bread.

Devils advocate. Joe is going up against Spotify as a the owner of a small business. Mal and Rory is going up against Joe as (according to Joe and Ian) overpaid employees. Joes is the creator of the JBP and it's network. Rory and Mal are not. Mal hasn't created a damn thing and Rory while an entrepreneur is not a creator (according to Joe). So there is a difference.

Parks went from engineering records for no-name/underground/failed rappers to probably making a high six figure salary from the comfort of his own crib by just chiming in conversations once every 10 minutes. I completely understand why he's not rocking the boat at all. Especially with a fiancee and a new crib. He ain't about to fukk that up.
