These guys could've easily found and played the Eboni K Williams clip if they wanted the true context instead of Joe assuming, being vague, not quoting properly and leaving it to Ish to try to put pieces together.

It was from her "Holding Court" podcast, not an interview she did. She's a lawyer and her podcast touches on legal issues around the industry and in the news. She was just touching on Joe's news after the Rory/Mal fallout, since it's a big podcast and talked about what it could mean from a legal standpoint.

Anybody with a brain would think that there's a chance Joe did his friends dirty, and at the end she mentioned her personal thought on how Joe used to call her for some game. So down the road when she was trying to call him for some game on the podcast space he seemingly ghosted her, and it seems like he may have done that because she signed on with Cthagod's Black Effect podcast network.

Almost positive it was Scottie Beam’s name that was edited out.

And i agree Joe being two faced. He’s mad she took the deal with CTG.
Joe said a whole lot without saying much if you were paying attention.

He quickly painted a picture, giving like 5 edited names of people working with Charlemagne to take him down, and connecting it to what Kwame brown said about Charlemagne tearing down black men on a white platform. Then changed subjects before anyone could question his line of thought.

Then you had Parks adlibing about the suspicious timing of it all.

That’s fine but this convo is about people not listening to any new music

listening to new genres is a great thing.

but most of the sentiment here is the “stuck in 90s” mindset
you love this new shyt
But rap is a lot different than what a lot of people here came up on
So I can see how it would be hard for them to find shkt they like

It’s completely different but yea u can find ur pocket if u search. Problem is if u don’t have the passion no one wants to go through all that work to find it. It’s just too many artists these days and music is too easy to make let alone miss. It’s also not enough variety on the radio. Everyone basically sounds the same for the most part so I can see it being hard to navigate who’s who. Most of this shyt these days isn’t even using natural BPM’s or a natural swing so I can see an older person finding it hard to adjust to the digital nature of it all. But like I said. U just gotta find ur pocket.

N.I.N.
Ish is a much needed change of pace. I like that he doesn’t let Joe get his bullshyt off and keep going. That CTG point Joe was trying to make had to be refuted in real time.
Their dynamic is needed because (if memory serves me correct) Ish has known Joe the longest and I think had his own fall outs with him overtime so he knows how to handle Joe I think. That goes back to the early JBTV episodes when they had that Music draft and Ish and Joe convo got heated
