this woulda made sense if Mal and Rory were actively trying to be celebrities on a popular podcast prior to doing itbut they weren't, it just ended up that way. You think someone as lowkey as Mal is thanking Joe for brining all this attention to his life that he never looked for? He wasn't a wannabe celeb that was too lazy to work for it, he was a regular nikka minding his business.

The homogeneity in place like reddit is weird and can be pretty easily explained and it already has been here.
Once Ice and Ish got settled in after the cringy Internet Executives shyt the audience got adjusted and the pod was pretty well received for the most part.
The Rory and Mal reboot, I guess it was a good try good effort, whatever. What did this pod in was Joe and his handlers letting him release the infamous rant pod, and the following two addressing only the 'haters.' Ice seemed to be on the brink of completely not giving a fukk and Ish was getting annoyed from where I'm sitting, and tbh it's been pretty easy to check out of this until someone comes up with some real ideas to harvest some good will with the listeners.
If the rant pod is never released everything is different. You could have just went your separate ways

But that clip shows just how much damage has been done. In 2018 that would've been Rory & Mal sitting next to him, he would've said something about Amiri hats, Mal would've looked at him like fam, Joe woulda got up acting like he's gonna fight, Mal does the my bad shyt and they move on to the next topic.
That nikka was hurt as fukk and wanted to turn up like he did on the firing episode before one of them old nikkas checked his ass and told him to move on the 2nd time. They can act shyt is regular all they want "he replaced them and the show's better!". Nah the magic ain't there like that.
