The sole purpose of your kids shouldn't be to further your professional legacy, or to "pick up the baton" as he put it, and it shouldn't be "Well..,fukk Them then!" if they choose not to.

The moral of the story was don’t bash the dad for a fukking check. If u gonna do that, u might as well off correct my mistakes and got the business right.

That’s what you want from a kid. You want your kids to be better than you.

Joe sounds like a terrible parent. A father's job is to give his son the tools he needs to become a good man and find his own way in the world. You do that by modeling the behavior yourself that you expect out of your son and reflecting on your own mistakes so that he can learn and make better decisions. Telling him to a do a bunch of shyt you haven't done yourself is exactly why he won't respect you and bash you publicly.
