As a former listener, i only cared about their discussion on the music biz and how well they relayed the mechanics behind it.

once rory and mal left and how hypocritical joe was about it all, i cant hear his takes on the biz at face value no mo. Rings hollow and all i hear is “me, me, me”

I come into this thread to see if theres an interesting part or segment to enjoy. But its been far and few in btw. For whatever its worth, joes cred has been demolished when it comes to believing his shtick of being about creators and ownership

Who invested in this pods downfall?

I gave it a listen over the weekend. Topics wise is pretty dry, I know these three can perform so nothing new there, but Parks has made this a chore. This dikkgobbler been trying too hard to be down.

He actually didn't overstep lines like this before. But it's his house so I'm sure the pod is stuck with this Lil dikky opinion for eternity

Parks had chemistry with the old crew, he was able to sneak comments into conversations that made him sound like the smart dude in the room and people started wanting more input from him.

He's mostly ignored by the new crew and it awkward.

The lowkey tension with Ish and Ice is funny. Toxic Masculinity vs Pandering. They finding their stride but Parks seems a lil lost, just not knowing when to sit some topics out and when to pop up.

I know the people in here who no longer listen to pod are saying the R&M pod is better? I listen to both and its not close when it comes to podding.

well i followed joe musically and this podcast. Not the other weird reality shyt.

going by the podcast, he loved these guys. And the way he spoke about ownership and the guys helping build his brand, would lead me to believe they would have some form of reasonable equity.

and then the ep of him shytting on them happened and i was like “ohhh its about your control, your self-importance”.

Joe cares more about his legacy and his name than the money and how his homeboys feel about him. He cares about what media outlets like forbes or billboard and what Elliot and diddy think of him.

It doesn’t really take away from the entertainment value for me he’s infinitely more entertaining than Mal and Rory. But since the Spotify talk started it became too repetitive and showcased how fugazi his talk about the industry is.

But what I did change was my view of Joe as a person. I knew he was a sicko and a bad business man, he himself said that all the time. But I didn’t know that all along he was turning around and doing it to his own friends. When he started bragging about his accountant being the same accountant that did all major label shyt for decades he wasn’t even bothering trying to hide his fugaziness.

Still an entertaining show when he stops acting like a rebel against the industry. He’s plugged in, loves the industry, does industry shyt and the only problem is that he gets finessed when he tries to finesse them. H

It’s tacky as fukk, but I can’t even blame folks. But I do know that as hard as Nick cannon works and the hours he put in, he gonna miss out on some of the events of the kids life. Especially if they don’t live close. On top of that m, juggling multiple women and their household

everybody parents different tho. I prefer to see my kids everyday
