Sure if you’re an idiot, which Joe is. YouTube prob brings more new people to him than anything. It’s like being on the radio in the 90s/00, or being on social media today. It gets your product on the radar for people and some are going to buy it - in this case subscribe. And he’s talked about the importance of views/algorithms before.

It’s another dumb smart move. He’s likely going to return to YouTube at some point after making major changes - ie getting newer, younger, whiter co-hosts. You can’t grow with two old black dudes unless it’s a sports podcast, which this isn’t. He’s a dumbass but surely knows this. In the meantime he gets to hide his meh numbers from the public and then when he returns it’ll be a “big” impact.

Watching this hour and a half Trap Lore Ross breakdown of the downfall of the JBP Podcast and man it's super interesting and .

It really shows how all the signs were there and how foolish Joe's moves were. A true case study. This is a must watch and I'm just 45 minutes into it.
