I’m just saying a young black and white dude is a good play for demographics. Two 40yo black dudes isn’t the wave. The result is guys who are never up on any music being discussed. Nor they up on anything an older person might presumably be up on like stocks or politics so you’re left with a relationship podcast full of old dudes pretending like they don’t fukk young chicks.

He really asked what was the difference between Kenya respectfully turning down Netflix, and him going on months long rants attacking spotify on their own platform for not offering some unreasonable deal for "audio only".

Doing 7k views after a week and 2 weeks is absolutely terrible. They did an episode with Mario a month ago and it still hasn't done 20k.

Karen Civil really got exposed with this. Can't buy genuine interest.

I'll say this in the most polite way possible: she's a great finneser who knows how to basically BS her way into great positions. It's honestly a skill that many White people have done for centuries. Somebody who gets a high rank and gets connects but can't really do it for themselves or truly build something. An expert wave rider or a professional BSer that gets exposed when the light is on her (Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, Haiti, her "book," this podcast, etc).

And I say that with not malice or envy. But working in media and corporate, you are able to spot these types of people. The kind that have elaborate resumes (which they likely exaggerated) but aren't really that good with the actual work. They just get other people to do it and are the face for it. The game is the game.
