Couldn't get through either one of the last two episodes. Wish they would just keep their album takes/reviews to 10-15 minutes if they aren't going to be honest.

This episode was hilarious. TV pods don’t try to pretend that NCIS or Blue Bloods are the best shows on despite being by far the most popular. You can tell they know that Drakes album is some complete BS but because we’ve been so conditioned to believe that sales are all important they can’t call it out for what it is.

The problem with how people like joe and them talk about drake is they really only care about when he’s rapping rapping lol…they go crazy and blush over those songs….but he’s like 10 projects in…it’s not gonna happen where he’s doing his “time stamp” rap shyt over alchemist beats for a full project…and joe specifically has a weird love/hate relationship with him, he has no idea what he wants from him musically

he’s gonna have like 4-5 straight bar records..like 4-5 r&b tracks..4-5 anthem type tracks..and like 4-5 collabs/experimental tracks ..it’s what’s gotten him here and he excels at it

And the nikka ICE who only listens to shyt like young dolph and bankroll freddie talking about how “it sounds the same” as his previous projects is hilarious to me

“everything sounds the same” is the lamest critique in music, next complaining about subject matter

Don’t you listen to an artist for their style? When I listen to Durk I wanna hear durk be durk. When I listen to Ross, I want Ross to be Ross

they also never explain what they want different

I'm ok with either viewpoint, but we're not going to act like this is a great album sonically. Bc it's not
