This was actually a good little mini episode. I agree with Joe that kids can be home schooled and still learn social interaction.
Rory is a Joe groupie, I always thought Rory would be cool with Joe before Mal
they can but you can’t replicate the school environment and every kids needs to learn how to make friends, lose friends, deal with conflict and being let down

You can do all this without traditional schooling (Not replica the school environment, but the other aspects). There's tons of programs where kids that are home schooled interact with each other during the day since home schooling usually doesn't take but a few hours, and there are other avenues like camps, sports teams, dance classes, the parents friends kids, kids in the neighborhood, etc. they can build friendships with. I agree it's important, and if you home school, you definitely need to make an effort. But it can be done.
Of course but I’m sure most of here went to school and did numerous extracurricular activities and would admit that none of that stuff builds your social intelligence like school.

Home schooling is actually better for children. Education system is flawed as fukk. Especially when it come to black and brown children. Just might end up fukking them up socially but the will be better educated.
Side Note; Education system is to program children. Not to learn.
