Pretty much. It's like I said a couple pages back, shyt has slowed up for the pod so he's throwing shyt at the wall trying to make it stick. Even as he announced that Flip and Mel are officially joining one of the things he says is how quiet things have been for the last year but now people are talking about the cohosts and voicing displeasure. He takes that as engagement instead of listening to his core fanbase. That's the typical sign of someone taking desperate measures to grow the product and keep it relevant. The equivalent of a TV show adding a new kid to the cast.
