As an adjacent point - not on no weirdo shyt - I think Mel is a very poor podder - and it’s mostly due to her not opening up/constantly lying/trying to keep up appearances/sell this “grander than video vixen” persona. You ask Mel as question and she’s going to say some bullshyt like “let me marinate on that” or just outright lie
You don’t even necessarily get the proverbial woman’s perspective from Mel on most topics - just random juelzing. You ask Mel if the sky was blue when she left the crib in the morning and you're going to get a long winded response about her not being sure because it had been fuchsia the night before, and by the time she looked up it was orange - all because she can't answer a simple question. I have a theory that part of it is rooted on her having hang-ups/not fully being comfortable with her past as a video vixen - she thinks everything is a gotcha moment, so she tries to project herself as more. Makes for poor podding. I’m surprised Joe kept her on the payroll for this long - which means he might genuinely like her - but I’m also surprised she’s not been coached out of her shell all this time.
