I’ve been in government and finance (in multiple countries) and I’ve never seen anyone with a 17 inch screen. Perhaps my producer or art director friends back in like 09.
The largest MacBook Pro is even 16 inch nowadays, so not even those guys got that

I've worked in government for almost 22 years. Never had a work laptop smaller than 15.6. our ENTIRE section just got new work laptops last year, all 17 inch dells. My personal laptop, however, is a cac colored ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14

At Treasury and NY Fed, and also most large corporations in the world they update their lines periodically and employees update their laptops after 3-5 years. Usually through a leasing company (or in govs case through GSA’s leasing companies). Can’t speak for state, local or other non-Washington brehs
