I feel like Double Toasted has done most of that if not all of it and been doing it for years. They've had a couple "spin off" shows that "ran" for years. Looks like they still run 3-4 shows different shows. They have had ensemble shyt over the years. I've seen a few complaints saying Corey should stop putting just any and all of his friends on the pod. Even branching off and giving members of the cast their own spin off show. They arent a guest driven pod. To top all of that, they have their own website where they sell subs/merch directly to the consumer.The product itself is pretty rare, since I’m sure they’re not one of one in any sense. Great audio and video, non guest driven, not ad laden, large cast that’s consistent with drops and just works; isn’t something you get from every podcast. Plus completely change of pace “spinoffs” Pod Wives, strictly about relationships and The Ian and Marc Show which is a pseudo scripted improv show. They have the right to pop their collar a little.
Maybe @Notorious 1 E.Y.E. or @Deltron can shed more light on the DT stuff on where I'm wrong/right. They post on the DT thread on here. Only thing I'm iffy on is the ensemble stuff. I just know they've been doing the independent grind for a minute.

I’m sure everything you’re saying is fact. Which is why I chose to say rare and not unique. But I’d be surprised if Double Toasted had half the audience that the JBP does. Which would tell me the two aren’t in the same league meaning those aren’t the people Ian is talking about comparing themselves to.

before twitch, korey ran everything through the dt website and you needed a sub to watch his shows, now all the shows are free on twitch. but he cant show as much stuff cause of copyright strikes n shyt. twtich's webplayers is much better tho.
korey kinda lowkey has abandond his old site and has spread out to patreon and youtube members
that complaint about korey putting his friends on the pod is overblown
but yeah he has 3 main shows: movie review extravaganza, roast and toast (which was always the best show, even before the bad movie roasts) and the sunday service. then he has "what up, son?" which is way more relaxed than the rest of the shows. and he brought back the trivia show
but korey puts an incredible amount of time before each show to make sure everything is right
i dont think joe and them are able to do that just by the type of people they are. goodwin and sammy both had their shows and were great on their own cause they put in the work just like korey would for his shows
