Howard didn't get that much. He most likely took a paycut since they cut back on how much he'll be doing. That was part of the stalemate, Sirius wasn't going to pay him $100M per year anymore. On the Higher Learning podcast a couple weeks ago they said the rumor was he was offered $30M per year.

If he is making 20 million a year with full ownership and working 3 days a week, that's 60 million in 3 years. He pays staff and other costs.

The extra five isn't worth it IF you are not going to do both things. Especially when you can be fired, or not renewed.

I haven't been a fan as long as others. Do y'all see him doing both things? He spoke today like it was too much damn work and that convinced me

Note that the whole company that owns Hot97 has 20+ stations nation wide had a net profit of 2.9 million last year or had a significantly increased revenue of 60m for the first half of 2025.
