Another issue with Ish's take is battle rappers dont need to spend a stupid amount of money to keep up appearances when they battle. Especially Geechi, he not one of them "im so rich" battlers like a Goodz. I feel like most battlers just have plain shyt. Surf battled more than once in regular sweats and a shirt/wife beater. Ish talking like battling is like fighters in ufc/boxing. Fighters gotta pay a lot to train to prepare for the fight, split the purse with their coach and all that other shyt. Battlers dont have none of that, they write they shyt and memorize it. They may research some shyt if they not lazy, but most the shyt be general bars. Hell Geechi has been guilty of freestyling some shyt in a battle or two.
