the low end. southside chi
i'm laughing but man i found a few years ago my mother did the same thing, where the school kept wanting to skip me and she kept saying no. Only skipped the 1st grade
honestly skipping more than one grade tbh aint good for the kids cause now they not with their age group and being with your age group is important

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Why are you trying to justify these old nikkas selling pills a la carte? That’s young boy shyt for those numbers, college campus movement. How and why would you be expected to be taken seriously if you can’t do the math at 30+ years old and understand that you not finna blow at being a battle rap “legend.” This whole mentality is so fukking stupid. Risk dealing or trafficking charges for scheduled drugs just so you can maintain an image for a bunch of other idiots who don’t know how to manage their money. Goofy ass shyt standing around some dusty ass club repeating bars with extra emphasis and splashing cheap booze on each other. For what? 25k views locked behind a paywall for six hours before it ends up on Reddit and some farmhand cac from Montana decides he’ll do the same shyt but will actually make money because people will buy into the novelty of this dumb shyt. I’ve never heard anyone quote Geechi on my 44 years on earth
I didn’t justify a single thing. What I said was “Joe and them nikkas said ‘just do 15 battles a year and make 150k’”

My point wasn’t to sell pills. My point was who in the fukk does 15 battles a year in 2026 and they all pay $10k a pop?

So the entire premise is off from jump. Now IF 150k was the goal. Selling pills was gonna get you there faster than battling or a regular job.

But yes, between all these options, getting a job was clearly the best option with battling on the weekends

Respect! I guess I read your tone incorrectly and I agree with the overarching point. IMO, battling is such a niche part of this industry it seems foolish that someone would try to front like they are making tons of loot off shyt that can’t possibly generate the requisite levels of income. And to attempt to supplement that income with low-level dealing is like some deleted scenes from an episode of NY Undercover.

I'm surprised by Joes take on ANTM, because he has defended/excused A LOT of bs under the guise of "the gig is the gig"

Anytime he has such a glowing review of a show and going episode by episode/ story beat like that in the breakdown of it, shyt comes off like a paid/sponsored review to me :manny:

Damn near every other thing on the pod seems halfassed when they bring up the topic but for certain tv/movie reviews he can be organized and concise when speaking about it, yea aight lol. Especially seeing Joe step on other shows and shyt other hosts try to bring up.

Nah 10 in high school is a prodigy. He’d be graduating at 14

I’ve seen people in the national news for graduating at 15/16

but it also sounds like he's conflating. he's assuming that because they offered to skip him in first and second grade, he would've gotten skipped two grades. but if that was the case, they would've offered to skip him from first to third. it's not the same thing.

Probably says more about the school than him.

NJ public schools had a funding crisis in the 70s too, remember how Bubbles assistent in the wire got to skip a grade :sas2:
That’s cause he was already held back twice. You ain’t gotta do my man Sherrod like that🤣
