I went to see this with friends. I was hoping they were going to pick Elvis but this was pulled instead. I like to say that it was great but I would be lying.
I fell asleep during the first 45 min for about 10 minutes. It didn't seem to make much difference.
There were way too many survivors in that helicopter at the end. They practically had the whole cast! That was ridiculous.
I did like looking at the lesbian black chick with the fake eyes. At least I hope they were contacts since they made her look like an alien.

I gotta go back and watch the old ones...but did anyone ever get got in these movies?
These dinosaurs all growls, roars and jump scares!....where's the part where they are actually eating and killing people? ..... It don't gotta be no main characters but damn can someone please get ripped apart?
Have these movies always been this tame?

I haven't watched this one yet and not sure i will, but i wanted to add that what made "Jurassic Park 1" so suspenseful was that it lowkey played like a horror film. Trapped in an amusement park with a buncha carnivorous man-sized/tree-sized predators.. not knowing who all would survive til the end...

They did a good job with the first 30-40 minutes setting up characters and their agendas, so that when everything goes to shyt half the fun was seeing who was getting clapped. Granted it was a PG13 thing and it wasnt extensive character backgrounds for everyone but at least as a kid and i would imagine for adults it kept you invested.

But once you get into that Fast n Furious territory where you have a large cast and you know pretty much everyone is going to survive... i think that's where boredom creeps in because there's no stakes to the cgi monsters or explosions etc.
