True. JMurder wants Melo to succeed. Trip would rather be right about the establishment than be proven wrong by them (hey, he's not alone; there's a good chunk of fans for every team that swear they mean well but would feel all sorts of confused if the guys they hate prove them wrong)

about what? It's not like Melo freezes up in the playoffs. His teams weren't good enough. So far, in 2 playoff series in NY, his teams weren't good enough to beat their opponents.

excuses for who? for what? Have the Coli tell it, i'm one of Melo's biggest haters ever. I keep it 100 when it comes to Melo's strengths and weaknesses. His playoff tenure with the Knicks isn't a mark on him.
