With artists such as Michael Christmas and Cousin Stizz making national noise, it’s becoming clear that the Boston hip-hop scene is on the rise. One of the top talents from the city is rapper/producer Latrell James and after listening to his music, thought it was only right for him to have his own thread. His two latest singles “Distance” and “99 Altima” have been well received and he has a new video for his next track “The Button” coming out on December 16th. All of these songs will be on his upcoming album titled Twelve, which is set to drop early next year. James has opened up for the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Cam’ron, and Scarface before while having production credits on projects from A$AP Ferg and Dutch ReBelle.
