I'm positive Sloan would come here.
LWO heads, looking for an honest answer here.
Kobe is always lauded for his don't give a fukk attitude and his willingness to throw guys under the bus if they're not pulling their weight (Smush, Kwame, etc). He doesn't have many years left to get #6 yet he seems to be calmly going about his business. Just a few months ago, he was applauding the princeton offense and saying how it was going to get easy shots for him and how Nash and Gasol would excel in it.
Given all of this and the fact that Mike Brown and the Lakers organization will clearly cater to Kobe's needs, why is he not speaking out about this need for a new coach that the fans are all talking about?

Maybe he's trying to sabotage him by playing along. If he asks for Phil, coke head Jimmy won't do it. Jimmy has to have no way out, for it to happen. Sorta like him finally agreeing to trade Bynum after he lost his mind.
You really think Laker management doesn't care about making the team better? They waited until Bynum finally had a healthy season and traded him for the best player available. Everyone else wanted them to cash in on him early when they would have got a lot less in return. The offense isnt the problem at all and Kobe was exactly right when he spoke getting easy shots. Look at his shooting percentages so far in these 2 games.
The problem is Mike Brown makes HORRIBLE adjustments (if he even makes any), is always the worst head coach on the floor, his subs make NO sense at all (he leaves the wrong players on the court for too long), and the most glaring issue is the fact that our defense is lacking.....but he's supposed to be a defensive specialist coach![]()

But the question remains, why is Kobe not calling him out?

He doesnt have to call him out....the proof is there for us ALL to see. Why does he need to state the obvious?![]()
in the bushes. Why is he still talking about Smush 6 years later? If Mike is the reason this isn't working, you'd think Kobe would be saying something about it. All it would take is one word and they'd have no choice but to throwin the bushes.
He didnt talk about Smush while Smush was on the Lakers though.
In regards to all things Lakers, Kobe never states the obvious unless he's pushed by the media to do so. I dont expect him to speak on Mike Brown until he's asked.

IIRC the Wizards fired Eddie Jordan about 3 or so weeks into the season a few years ago. And technically Flip was canned about a month into last season.Mason & Ireland on 710 am were sayin' this morning that no coach gets fired in the 1st month of the season. Who would ya'll replace Brown with. You still have to pay him the remainder of his contract and how much are you willing to pay for a name brand coach? they don't come cheap

that soon. This is gonna take some time to get right.
as I post right now.
