Derrick was not a tweener in college or the pros.
Aaron Gordon is either a very undersized PF OR a small forward that can't shoot, create, or run. His best attribute other than the springs he has for legs (his defense) becomes a nonfactor in the pros if he's a 4.

Marion had an unorthodox yet effective jumpshot. Gordon doesn't. Marion had more of a SF skillset whereas Gordon's more interested in mixing it up in the post. That, and Marion in the pros was COMPLETELY reliant on elite PG play to make him look effective. Once those springs faded away, he turned into a meh player.

Gordon has a nice handle and is a good passer he just cant shoot that well but his form isnt MKG broken or anything
As far as Marion his jumper was anyhting but effetcive early on in his career
