Yes. The team that LOSES the opening tip, gets the first possession arrow. Then it alternates all game long after each "jump ball". It's ridiculous.

-1. Team who loses the jump ball at start of game gets possession arrow.
-2. Every jump ball, team with arrow gets ball. Arrow then switches to other team.
-3. Start of 2nd half possession goes to team with arrow at the half.
-4. Repeat step 2 to end of game.
