How would keeping great bball players and his potential top stars like Randle, Wiggins, Parker and Ennis HELP his pockets? Makes no sense.
The point is for all 4 of these guys that will make it, there will be 30-40 poorly advised HS seniors that beat up on rural white kids for 4 years thinking they are good, and try to go from that low level comp. to the NBA. Those 30-40 would be pushing out 30-40 current NBAers for NO reason at all. These 4 are the exception, not the rule
is that wiggins brother and if so what's their connection to kansas?
the difference is you can still apply for those jobs that require those degrees, while your not even allow to "interview" for the nba per say.

lmao this has nothing to do with the nba, it has to do with the ncaa using these players as slaves and silverman taking money from the ncaa under the table
because what makes u think 2 years will do shyt to make a baller nba ready, when there is a nut ass 35 second shot clock, 30 games, and constant zones? ill wait....why not make it a 4 year rule then? where does it end..cuban caught a little flack but his comments on how to make the nbdl a bigger paid ojt program for those seeking the nba as a profession, were pretty interesting
whats up with refs always instantly calling touch fouls on a fast break but not calling fouls on contact under the rim? I don't understand it
they just pushed over one of our players trying to get an offensive rebound and nothingsame thing I said...
Im all for players makign a living and getting money but guys like Jordan went to school for 3 years i dont know why guys today who arent nearly as good are in such a rush
You can say its financial but its not like the players back in the day didnt come form poor backgrounds and still foudn a way to stay adn eventualyl help theri families
yeah you can "apply" for a Masters required job if u have a high school diploma.....and they will probably throw it in the trash w/o even looking at it
To me it's a combination of the NBA and college bball. Personally I think both win.
Far as players being "slaves", that's just teh way it goes. There's no way to properly pay every athlete who makes a school money. Because that goes beyond basketball or football and you have to pay the wrestling team, the water polo team other sports u dont even know exist at schools....academic scholarship kids who compete in university academic events too will need to be paid
nothing guaranteed to make the players better, but if you look at the history it gives them a better chance.
Look how fast so many high school players flamed out from the late 90's to early to mid 00's eras. Maybe if they went to college and played 60-90 games it would've gave them a better chance to succeed.
College football rules are different from the NFL, but it better prepares the player for the level of athlete they will face.
i'm an advocate for the opportunity being given. That's my point. be allowed to apply if you don't get it oh well
