This is the story I got on the Dawson front ..
Word is .. he'd been uneasy about his commitment since the opening back in March(?) .. but he kept telling the staff that he was firm in his commitment. Then his boy Cameron Dillard (UF commit) talked him into visiting Florida cause he'd love it. Behind the coaches backs, he set up three separate visits with the Florida coaches, and reniiged on all of them. Coach Muschamp called Hoke and Mattison and asked if he was fully decommited from UM and they said they knew nothing of him wanting to decommit. Muschamp went on to tell them of the 3 separate visit dates that Dawson set up without their knowing. Hoke then confronted the kid, he tried to lie and say it was games he was playing.. and Hoke supposedly said "I can play games too .. watch this .. you are no longer committed to MICHIGAN .. not cause you DEcommited, but because I'm pulling your scholarship"
When he visited Florida the following week .. he thought he was a virtual lock .. but Muschamp never offered. Word is.. he's very similar to Hoke .. he likes guys with good character .. and he got turned off at the whole lying thing. Now he's got a top 3 of Ohio, Sparty and Nebraska.
