He still doesn't know how to throw people open and to throw for accuracy under pressure. Wisconsin will be a test. He failed that test today definitely. Him throwing late will also get a WR killed god forbid before this season is over.

This is EXACTLY the way i see it. He's got no feel for his receivers. He does some good things and a lot more bad in my opinion. I still stand by what i said in the beginning of the year. When we play a team with a pulse defensively, we're gonna struggle. And possibly lose.

If Speight plays the way he did today, against the Buckeye's, we'll lose. We've got the horses to beat Ohio State. But our margin for error will be very little.

Speight has clear accuracy issues. He misplaces the ball placement too often. Better teams will make us pay when we have less separation.

I've seen every snap from Speight this year and I hope I'm wrong but he will cost us to lose a couple of games this year. In my opinion he is the epitome of average, his accuracy is putrid. Damn near every throw he's getting the WR's hit hard, his intermediate ball placement is bad as well. Ruddock was way better. The defense is good but then again, if a CO had a few breaks, they would've won.

I think it's a team that's still trying to find themselves and I'm ok with that but you have a good defensive Wisconsin team coming in and they will stop the run and force speight to consistently beat them and so far he hasn't proved that but this is the first quality team he's has faced so we'll see...

If Speight is gonna have accuracy issues, then yea.. I'd like to get Shane more snaps. And O'Korn got benched his sophomore year because of a total overhaul in the offense, which didn't suit him.

Breh, I've watched, played and coached enough football to know that Speight ain't got 'it' and the fact that he might cost us a shot at a Natty pisses me off. This team is damn good. Especially the defense. But we're not good enough to carry his ass.

He was a 5th year senior I would hope he was better at this point in the season even tho if you look at the numbers through 4 games he's been better then Jake

Speight obviously did more then okorn to get the job according to harbs and he knows qbs. Im definitely not throw morris's ass out there agaimst wisc, msu, or osu. We just gotta roll sith hik this year till peters gets it next year or the young gawd mcafferey.
