Yea I'm starting to hate MSU more than OSU at this point.

With OSU shyt will be left on the field only. Something is seriously wrong with the culture at MSU and that includes izzo program also

First lemme say I come in peace. I have zero desire to start a whole pissing war over MSU vs UM. History has proven time and time again, MSU’s best years were in the 50s & 60s and barring a complete miracle, that history won’t ever be replicated. Congrats on the win, as I expected it wasn’t close.

Now…

In what way does it involve Izzo?

Referring to Payne & Appling over a decade ago that never had any formal charges? Did Don Izzo make the call to MSUPD & ELPD to obstruct justice? Highly unlikely.

Or are referring to players’ behavior AFTER they’ve left the program. Many of these players are also players that held UM offers (Draymond, Bridges, Appling)

I’m not sure Izzo has said a negative word about UM other than it’s a rivalry.

Y’all are feeling a certain way about this and that’s your right.

However, where was this level of outrage when your hoops coach put his hands on another coach on live TV?

Where was this level of outrage when your football program’s biggest face allowed a child rapist to molest thousands of men including his own son??? Sorry, “adopted son” (as if that makes it any less disturbing)…

If you’re going to be outraged about egregious behavior and lack of institutional control, it’s not a 1-way street.

I think you’ll find that I am about the most level headed MSU fan in existence. I have no qualms about admitted the university lacks overall leadership, I have no qualms admitted that the football program is not capable of sustained success. My personal identity or worth isn’t tied to a school or sports team. I’ve openly said “fukk MSU” before. Last year was the biggest game in the series history and I think you’d all agree my behavior, and NormanConnors wasn’t anything obnoxious before, during and after.

Personally I don’t care about being “respected” by UM or other blue bloods or the elites in the SEC. Even if I did care, It’ll never happen even if MSU wins back to back national titles.

I also don’t care if the two schools play each other anymore. It’s not beneficial to UM, if you win you SHOULD win, if you lose it’s a whole year of disgrace. And clearly MSU has no ability to control its players when challenged.

Just my input. We can discuss if you’re willing to, and if not that’s cool too.

I do think there’s a double standard when it comes to media outrage. Had MSU’s team doctor done this shyt it would be global news like Nassar, yet I don’t think I ever recall the Dr. Anderson case ever being brought up during games last year. OSU got a someone light press coverage despite whatever went down w/ their sketchy doc

PSU, not a true blue blood got absolutely destroyed over their Pedo shyt. MSU got it bad too and it didn’t even involve football or basketball yet the programs were dragged into it. Idk if it was a ver even mention where nassar went to school…which was both UM & MSU

The breh had to literally sleep outside and picket UM daily to be recognized for his suffering, and of course the half a bill settlement was announced right after the playoffs.

I just see that as privileged and the university takes advantage of that status as it fits their needs.

I’ll agree these situations aren’t all apples to apples but you have to admit if MSU had the same team doc issue it would be all that was discussed in Michigan for a full season.

If I’m labeled a hater and all that that’s cool whatever. Yea have no personal beef w/ UM, I have day-ones that are alumni and my cousin was a physician with UM Health for her fellowship. I’m not one of these idiot Spartan fans that’s going to say ole mean UM made us do it, and I’ll happily admit the online MSU fans of the boomer generation are disturbingly obsessed w/ UM to the point where I can’t even discuss athletics w/ them

All universities have their skeletons, and back in the g it was worse, they not trying to open themselves up for a black eye, so i understand the game for what it is, to me this is kids taking this shyt too far not some coach led vendetta

IMHO, y’all will beat the bucks this year. If the game was in AA I’d guarantee it. I think OSU has all the pressure on them and with the monkey off your backs you’ve been able to play much better ball overall.

Can only hope, for the first time we have seen that defense look vulnerable, when you present multiple options, if 55 didn’t go super saiyan they might have pulled it off, but they should walk into the game unscathed
