Just a few yrs ago, a lot of us were laughing because we thought we were gonna get another Michigan coach fired:sadcam:

And for the record, yes, I wanted the rivalry to be "back", but not "2 consecutive dbl digit losses" back.
The cost of doing business, a rivalry means getting back even and no more than 2-3 years of dominance, to be honest your run had to finally come back to earth

I knew it would eventually.

And a huge part of me wants TCU and USC to win their games this weekend.

I don't even want to be in any position to lose to yall TWICE in a 6/7 week span. fukk. That.

Just give us the Rose Bowl where about 10 or so players won't even wanna suit up for the game :martin:

We had we had a lot of great stuff ready to go. We were ready for for everything -- for overtime, for a two-point shootout, whatever came up. As it turned out, the big plays made it so we didn't really need to use a lot of the stuff we had saved up that was ready. Really, a lot of the big plays we hit was was base -- you know, day one training camp stuff. The first big play to CJ was a check by by JJ. He's so smart and so well-prepared that we're able to put most of the checks on him. A lot of college teams look to the sideline, but he correctly identified that was a zero blitz. He did the check that that we had discussed and just made a great play to drift away from the free rusher and throw a hitch and CJ did the rest. Really basic stuff.

:banderas: basic stuff OSU defensive staff:russ::laff::mjlol:

I would just say with Cade: I mean, the guy's Michigan legend. And I don't say that lightly. He's 12-2 as a starter here. He's in the top-10 in every single-season quarterback record. He was voted All Big Ten by the coaches, voted team captain by his players. Won the Big Ten, beat Ohio State. So he's a Michigan legend, and we're just really grateful to Cade for everything he did here. I know J.J. was up here the other day, and he said he wouldn't be where he is without Cade. I think that's true. The thing I would add to that is: We wouldn't be where we are as a team right now without Cade. Wish him nothing but success. His story is still being written. Wish him nothing but success. Hopefully we don't have to play him.

He's a great player. He's got a great future ahead of him. Everyone here is indebted to him for last season and for everything else he helped us do to build to '22.
