While the defense was shyt they still kept it within striking distance. The over reliance on screens in the first half was ridiculous, I know we've wanted screens so much over the years but my God, we don't need THAT many. Don't make an offense out of running and screen passes.

I've been calling to move on from Bellamy for a couple of years now. You don't have to be an elite receiver to create separation in your routes. I cant remember any receivers being coached up by him, helping them achieve that.

In the beginning, we were blaming it on the playbook.. and being so run heavy.. and that's fine. But at the end of the day, what exactly does that have to do with a receiver actually being good at his position? We've had 4 and 5 stars.. they cant all have been busts.

And I've never been a believer in Newsome. I think he's still green and I dont think he should be sharpening his craft at a school like Michigan.

Usually when you play a young QB you add tempo to make things easier for them. Playing slow vs a defense like that was diabolical, lol.

Bryce needs more dog in him as well. He legit looks like Devin Gardner running the ball. I hope its cause he's tentative and thats just not how he naturally runs in games.

He's got great passing potential, but in college as a young QB it helps to be a running threat. OU didnt fear him keeping the ball on an option or running past pressure.

That said, Oklahoma should have been a L by any rational person. My only real concern is our Oline. Its much worse than I expected.
