I'm on whatever the league settings are. Can we tweak the settings on our end?

The game is killing me with pitches. Even when I hit the meter exact, a lot of my pitches are nowhere near where I'm aiming them. I've had fastballs that are supposed to be right on the corner, tail over the middle of the plate with a perfect meter. Curveballs and sliders that were supposed to be a few inches under the strike zone bounce in front of the plate. :snoop:

you gotta take time to get used to each pitcher, his delivery, pitch breaks, and pitch count potential.

I'm good with all of that, plus the target shows you where pitches are gonna break. When I used Verlander, his two seam fastball was tailing back over the plate when the rotation of the pitch is supposed to go inside on righties.

that's based on confidence, target placement, energy level, and accuracy based on rating AND/OR target placement depending on which method u use to pitch.

So if confidence is off, it doesn't matter where I place the pitch or how exact I time the meter?

That definitely helps be more accurate but it really is 50/50 on the location of the pitch. I'm pretty sure where you miss on the meter affects the pitch too. I haven't been able to confirm it but if you stop it early, the ball seems to rise and be more in the middle, if you stop it late, it seems to lead to more balls in the dirt or way out of the zone. I pretty much just stay in the corners because the ball moves around so much you don't know where it's actually gonna end up half the time :beli:

I meant if my pitcher's confidence isn't high.

But their is confidence for each pitch that affects its usefulness so if you aren't throwing a pitch for many strikes or its getting hit hard, the pitcher will have less confidence in that pitch which makes it not break as much or miss its spots.

So whenever there is a weak hitter, I'll try and get confidence up on pitches that are a bit lower

Yeah, I've noticed the confidence for each individual pitch. I usually have 2-3 that are at least 75%, so it's frustrating as hell when pitches end up so far from where I aim. It's infuriating when I nail the meter and the pitch still winds up a foot from where I aimed. :upsetfavre:
