He was the guy Machida flew into Brazil to train for Jones....he was rolling with Cormier and Velasquez b/f the Dos Santos fight and he was getting takedowns on Cain. Dude is arguably the best wrestler in MMA...add that with his good chin, improving striking(other than Feijao, he's gotten the better of the striking in his short career, Mousasi's striking wasn't effective until he was on his back) and good sub defense and I think he's fairly skilled. Dude's only had like a dozen fights and he's already this good. Everybody's getting bulldozed @ 205 in Bellator once Lawal comes to town. The TNA bullshyt is what may be his undoing. You know those hillbillies might try to take liberties w/ him in the ring.
And Brian Stann is out of the "main event" against Lombard(or so they say on Sherdog)....who do you think fills in for him? Maybe Palhares, if he's healthy enough. Maybe even Belcher.
