Well the WSOF card went about as expected with most of the favorites picking up quick and decisive victories, with the exception of Miguel Torres. Time has not been kind to him, I remember when he was the WEC champ and in the PFP conversation and now he is getting tornado kicked in defeat.
I was really looking forward to seeing Spong fight, too bad his opponent was greatly over-matched. I was hoping to see more of his skills.

his career just seemed to go down hill from the moment he said he could kick floyd's ass dude was really feeling himself then

The two biggest betting favorites in the event lost. Torres and Gracie both lost. They didn't have any non competitive fights.
Spong was in his first mma fight ever so it was good competition.
Also the Linderman and Rumble fight was good match making imo. Linderman is very good. It was a good fight to make.
A lot of people were picking Cole to win against Arlovski. Cole isn't a bum at all and Arlovski isn't a world beater anymore.
It's easy to say 'oh I knew it' after the fights. Spong probably had the most lopsided fight because of his stand up skill.
I hope the lack of competitiveness at WSOF 1 was just a means to bring in casual viewers for an opening events and hyping the name fighters they do have.
The Tyson Nam/Moraes fight for WSOF 2 seems like a step in the right direction.
I hear that they are bringing in Todd Duffee too, a matchup against Arlovski wouldn't be bad

also.. Just announced..
Flyweight title fight will headline the UFC on FOX 6 show from Chicago on Jan. 26. Card is looking good.

All three fights have the potential to be fight of the year.Faber's fighting somebody @ UFC 156 on Superbowl weekend. He doesn't know who yet.
The spider's ppl let it be known that he'll be @ UFC 154 and he's probably going to call out GSP if he wins.
The Jones-Sonnen fight is scheduled to take place 3/27/13 in Jersey.....when does the new season of Ultimate Fighter start? They usually start in SEptember and April...they're gonna fight during the season???
