Dude suffered multiple KO's in MMA and boxing including a recent one. He was knocked down multiple times in a short span. The ref should have stopped it sooner, the corner probably should have thrown the towel in and even the commission should answer some questions considering the recent KO and Hague's 1-3 record going into a fight with a 7-1 cat who had 6 KO's.

If he can produce the wins I don't see why he can't get a Cody Garbrandt type hype train behind him. That moron never says any damn thing worth listening to and I remember you and others in here calling him "charismatic"

Getting a crack at a top 10 opponent, and honestly one of the lesser knowns after a four fight winning streak that includes Magomedev and Trinaldo doesn't seem like anything but a match-up earned with wins in my book. I've seen Holloway and Ferguson's recent trash talk get credited too and I always point at their records. Now if Colby Covington gets a title eliminator next after the snoozefest in Singapore. Correia is the last one that comes to mind who actually trash talked her way to a shot without the wins reflecting a real deserved shot off the top of my head (you could say Nate but considering the short notice and that Conor picked him from multiple options I wouldn't count that).

All I know is nobody was talking about Lee until he started yapping. Now his free fight UFC released on YouTube has about 70k more views than Chiesa's free fight and it looks like Lee will hit similar numbers to Holly Holm who is pretty popular with casuals.
