bones needs to move up & claim his crown in the heavyweight division ,the time is right

He still has a solid 3 or 4 more defenses at LHW before he moves up, Soennen, winner of Hendo/Machida (hopefully Hendo), Gustaffson maybe, and Cormier if he is able to get down and be successful at LHW. No rush to go there.

fukk as much as I like Cain, him winning the title ruins the HW division. Besides Cain/Reem there is nothing left. No one wants to see Big foot get massacred by Cain again. Cormier will probably drop to 205 despite the fact I think he is needed at HW to keep it exciting.

Cain/Werdum would be very interesting. Werdum matches up nicely with Cain. Their striking is pretty even, with Cain having the wrestling advantange and Werdum having the BJJ advantage. The best BJJ at HW vs. the best wrestling at HW, that'll be good :ohlawd: I would have Cain winning, but Werdum has the tools to pull off the upset.

Cain would maul Werdum. Werdum has come a long way in his striking but I dont think he seeing Cain, especially after this last fight. That wouldn't be a competitive fight at all

Don't see a way Hendo wins that fight if all goes well it will look like

Sonnen next

Machida vs. Gustaffson for #1 contender

Cormier leap frogging both of them and fighting in October ish

In terms of striking? If yes, stop overrating Cain's striking. Striking wise, they're about even.

Cain stomping Werdum is a definite possibility, I just think you're underestimating Werdum's chances.

Hey, I'm thinking of getting into MMA, but it's spread across so many channels and events that I'm confused how to get into it.

Does everyone here only watch UFC? If not, what are the other MMA sponsors (I guess?) to watch? Who are the top guys to watch in MMA? Any big upcoming fights? Any suggestions on how to watch more physical MMA rather than wrestling on the mat type MMA or is boxing more what I'm looking for?

Start with the UFC and if you really like it move on to other organizations (like Bellator). If you're going to get into [watching] a sport, you might as well start with the very best organization.

Top guys: Anderson Silva, Jose Aldo, Jon Jones, GSP and Cain/JDS

Big upcoming fights? UFC 156 is stacked as f#ck. Aldo/Edgar, Overeem/Big Foot, Evan/Lil' Nog, etc.

If you like striking, watch K-1. I watch both, but enjoy MMA a lot more.

Some fights to start off with:
Machida/Evans
Shogun/Hendo
Anderson Silva/ Belfort
Kongo/Barry

Thanks breh. I watched UFC 155 pre-lims and 155 and loved it but a lot of the dudes like JDS felt lacking despite having a black belt in BJJ. I definitely prefer striking so I'll check out K-1 too.

Is The Ultimate Fighter worth watching?

I think it was difficult for him to do anything after getting badly rocked.

Don't bother with The Ultimate Fighter, it hasn't been good in a long time.

Werdum has a chance against Cain he's vastly improved his striking, and Cain does get wild at times. He could lure him into a triangle like he did to Fedor.
