I agree if they slowly injected womens MMA in with maybe a co main event on a fox event and then build it from there it would be better instead of just throwing Ronda Rousey out there like shes this huge star that everyone knows about without doing the dirty work to build up the division.
:ohhh: putting them as a co-main on fox would have worked. hope son doesn't have business consultants/advisors. if he does, they're getting paid to do nothing....

They should just get sexy girls to fight. Is that wrong for me to think that? Hahaha. They don't even have to fight. They can just grab each other and dance aggressively or something.. Actually, I'm just thinking about porn. Nevermind guys. Disregard everything I just wrote.

Well, he couldn't fight for anybody at the time because he got suspended for pissing hot. He could've waited out the suspension to see if the UFC would sign him afterward (and they would've, Mo said Dana told him this)

that's not true. Mo's contract actually expired and he tried to sign with the UFC. Mo was actually the first guy to find out that Showtime and a clause in their contract that no Showtime fighters could sign with the UFC while Showtime was still airing Strikeforce. Mo was told straight up he couldn't sign with the UFC. That's why he re-signed with SF. Mo could NEVER go to the UFC.

Mo had a different situation than those other guys because he got cut. He was no longer under contract. Dana even called Mo's agent personally asking why he was signing with Bellator and why he couldn't just wait till September (he couldn't fight until Jan. 2013 at the earliest, regardless) when the UFC would've signed him.

that's interesting. I don't remember that part. I do know for a fact though that when Mo finished his first SF contract he was 100% told about not being able to fight for the UFC because of Showtime and that's why he re-signed with Strikeforce. I don't know what kind of fukkery Dana was going to try to pull after he was cut. lol. Sounds like he was up to something.

That does suck that Mo signed with Bellator if the UFC was really trying to do something. Even though he lost last night i would have loved to see him in the UFC.

The pros' picks at Sherdog have it 18-13 in favor or Machida.

He MIGHT stop Dan...I just think it'll be a lop-sided decision for Machida.

That was a great night of action for Bellator with KO's left and right. Both of the favorites of the LHW tourney coming in King Mo and Babalu were taken out by spinning back fists. The funniest comment I read on twitter about the KO was when King Mo got hit, it looked like a robot powering down :russ:

Lima and Saunders meet again in the WW tourney finals, I like Lima again as he has better striking and power.

Mother Russia is victorious again and claims another Bellator tourney victory.

You guys do realize that the more CO-main events they have the more MONEY ufc has to pay the fighters. It's the whole reason why fighters want main even, and co main event titles for ppv's. They are then entitled to a greater % of da ppv buys money, and for FOx would be the ad/sponsor money.

It's one of the things that was working against Fitch. His contract and expectations is to get paid like a Co-main even fighter at the worst, yet he isn't fighting in that slot any more, he's not considered main card. Dana n Lorenzo dont wanna over pay a dude, its a business. Meanwhile, the money Ronda and Carmouche are getting to headline are peanuts that a Rashad got to Co Main event last card.
