I didn't know Bubba was on TUF. His wiki says he was an assistant for Jones, but I didn't watch that season.

yeah somebody asked why he got released. He's not the fighter. Bubba Jenkins has a lot of hype behind him right now. I'm sure he got a very good contract. I'm a bit surprised he signed with Bellator. They do have a good history of treating wrestlers well.

Not really about leverage but about the law. If the fighers actually have a binding contract that state your fighting an exact opponent on an exact day and then the ufc tries a bait and switch by law you could technically sue them. Of course no fighter would as then they would be ending their own career in the process. But i'm sure Liz got a lil hush money. Most likely would be a % of her appearance fee and then more money on top for the replacement fight they give her.

His ground game proabably aint all that at the moment but decent. His coach said that because he fights the way he fights he going to get shot up to the top, Quickly so once he started getting attention they started doing nothing but ground work. In his mind he says he wants to work on mostly ground so he can keep the fight standing. He has 2 submission victories, one by arm bar and another by RNC, but his ground game aint ALL that yet just because of the amount of time it takes to develop a good one. Hopefully he sticks with it because hes fun to watch. Hes had one fight in Bellator so hes not far from the top and not to long ago he was in bum a bum league.
