Vinny reminds me so much of Sokodjou, arrogant one trick ponies who don't want to make any effort to improve their arsenal...coincidence that try are best buddies

Can anyone confirm this, someone on the UG posted that they heard on the post fight show that Vinny left his gloves in the octagon?

That was like 2 inches from being the next champ. Not a fluke either. He lands those in like half of his fights. Good scramble afterwards too. I think Zombie will be back for at least one more title shot.

Toronto UFC will be a sell out no matter what. The last couple Montreal cards, have not sold out 100%. They announced a sell out crowd and the gate was huge. But at 9pm mid way thru the card you were able to walk up to the arena and purchase tickets direct from the box office.

Vinny has been training his standup like crazy since he came back, but he's just not very good at it

His problem is that hes trying to show everyone that his striking has gotten better, and sometimes just neglects his strongest tool, his bjj. He's also pretty chinny.


I'll ask him about the glove things. I trained with dude last year, so he hits me back on twitter fairly regularly when I @ him

Vinny doesn't come across as a very humble dude- I hope after getting knocked out, things change. Where is he training now, I think he left Xtreme Couture in Vegas right? he needs to go back to TQ and train with Hendo or go to Stockton and train with Richard Perez..dem paws were looking weak bruh

Damn, the UFC shafted Hoger- cutting dude after one fight sucks. But Kyle Kingsbury still has a job


However, IMO Hoger didnt look good in his last fight, maybe had a bad weight cut? he needs to go back up to 205- Like Vinny he is a great BJJ technician but can I really call him a Mixed Martial Artist?

All jokes aside, with decent stand up Vinny can really be a problem. I seriously thought he was lazy but he doesn't come across as humble and appears to be some what "entitled" and this isn't helping him
