He was the clear winner in the first Edgar fight. He has had 2 50/50 fights, vs. Edgar II and vs Melendez
You seem to be taking me citing fan reaction as my personal opinion.I know he won the first edgar fight but many thought not which facilitated the rematch

. Again, you didn't answer my question, 'how does close fights indicate anything negative about a fighter?'
"A" close fight doesnt. But whats the saying first time is a fluke, 2nd coincidence 3rd a trend? For a "champion" to be marred by that it doesnt do much for the appeal which is paramount in ppv buys.

You made the point of Dana criticizing him, so it's up to you post a link to prove your statement. Why in the fukk would I need to post a link? Post the link breh, that's all you have to do.
:beli: Dana is a promoter hes not going to outright shyt on a champion thats struggling to draw flies as it is but to label it "another ben henderson fight" is telling. If you dont want to believe me or do the research its whatever :ehh:
Your point is that very few people care about Bendo, but his lack of drawing power is more indicative of fans not paying attention to the lower weight classes. Hence, why I brought up Barao.
Its a cheaptrick cuz I already stated all the other factors working against barao. And the LW division hasnt had a champion as exciting as penn till pettis. If he headlines a ppv (post fox card) and still pulls in below 200k then we can talk cuz I dont think he will..

Are you serious? That saying is irrelevant to the topic at hand. Terrible.

Looks to me like you're talking out of your ass breh. All you have to do post a simple link that proves your statement. If not, keep it moving because you're making yourself look like an idiot.

If Bendo was the problem, then Pettis would debut as champion on PPV, not FOX.

You going to say the succession of "controversial" wins didnt taint bendo's appeal in fans eyes? :beli:

I have given you the source material to derive from I dont have the time to do it myself. If you are too lazy to do so :manny: like I said its whatever

:What part of "he hasnt helped his case" didnt you understand? if we've already established the lighterweights fare lowly why would the ufc make pettis co/ headline a card when they can easily build/gauge (his popularity) by placing him on a fox card? :why:

Mir won't be cleared in time so his fight v. Reem is moved back to UFC 169 (the Superbowl weekend card)

So im listening to WON radio and Dave Meltzer said that JDS and Velasquez would beat a prime Fedor. He also said that outside of Nog, Fedor didn't really fight any quality opponents:rolleyes: What do you guys think? I could see Cain beating Fedor but JDS :ld: Theres a good chance Fedor could pressure him like Cain did and pick up a decision

My point still stands, that say has nothing to do with what we're talking about.

Only one of his wins were controversial, the second Edgar fight. The Melendez fight was close and could've gone either way, hence no controversy.

So you're indirectly admitting your full of shyt, okay keep it moving then.

Thank you for proving my point. Bendo is not the reason for low PPV sales, it's the fact that LWs are not draws.

Fedor was so damn fast, strong off his back and had that one hitter quitter that Cain is succeptable to.

Man that'd have been a fun fight.

Prime Fedor would have a tougher time with Cain than JDS IMO. I personally think he beats JDS rather easily, against Cain it's a pick 'em fight.

He was known as a champion that eeked out wins, whatever our opinion was that was the general consensus. But I am starting to get a read on the redundancy here

:beli: is english not your first language? why do you think I put quotation marks around the word controversial.Doesnt matter what you or I think/thought when the results were announced the fans werent in concert with what was read, its that simple

.

Yeah so full of shyt I provided you with the source material to go check it yourself. That makes sense :rudy:.

Seems like you are just arguing for arguing sake now.Fact of the matter is he didnt help and edgar was a better draw.Proof is in the pudding :ld:
